belif’s Aqua Bomb Deep Hydration Set is great for fulfilling a skincare routine, especially for beginners because there aren’t too many products & steps to get confused by. All of belif’s products are free from sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil, and contain less than one percent of synthetic fragrances – basically from harmful ingredients that your skin doesn’t benefit from.
The Aqua Bomb Jelly Cleanser (30 ml/1 oz) starts off as a jelly cleanser, but after rubbing it in your hands with some water, it turns into a foam. It gently removes makeup and dirt/oil, without striping your skin of moisture. The scent reminds me of a clean/lemon scent you find in cleaning supplies – but in a good way! It is not overpowering or strong at all. It foams up super quick and a little bit, goes a long way. The full sized cleanser (160 ml/5.41 oz) retails for $34 CDN at Sephora.
The Aqua Bomb Hydrating Toner (20 ml/0.67 oz) is again, a gentle formula. It provides more moisture to your skin after cleansing, and preps it for the next steps – eye cream & face cream. It’s packed with Hyaluronic Acid (which is super popular nowadays!). The full sized toner (200 ml/6.75 oz) retails for $37 CDN at Sephora.
The Moisturizing Eye Bomb (5 ml/0.17 oz) provides 26 hours of moisture, boosts elasticity, and increases resilience of the skin. It definitely provides a ton of moisture, especially for such a lightweight texture. I always apply my eye creams before moisturizers, but I’ve seen other people do it the other way around, so I’m not sure which method would be best. Either way, I really like using this eye cream and definitely see a much more hydrated appearance when I look in the mirror. The full size eye bomb (25 ml/0.84 oz) retails for $60 CDN at Sephora.
Lastly, we have The True Cream – Aqua Bomb (50 ml/1.68 oz). I’ve seen belif’s The True Creme (cream formula vs. this gel one) is a highly coveted product and I’ve seen so many other bloggers rave about it, so I knew this formula would be amazing as well. In the warmer months, I really love having gel moisturizers as my skin doesn’t crave moisture like it does during the winter, and I don’t need my skin to feel super greasy. The True Cream – Aqua Bomb is perfect for me; it’s lightweight and provides the exact amount of moisture needed. It’s great under makeup and doesn’t leave my skin wanting more. This cream retails for $50 CDN at Sephora.
