The secret is OUT! I’m here to finally show you everything from the FabFitFun Winter box! Not too long after receiving the Fall 2019 box from FabFitFun, I got my hands on this newest box! This one is my favourite box so far – I am obsessed with the faux fur blanket and slippers. I know this box retails for well over $200, but FabFitFun boxes go for $49.99 USD (PLUS: use code spilledpolish to get an additional $10 OFF). Let’s dive right in and I’ll show you everything I received.
UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow ($65 USD). This 50′ x 60′ faux fur blanket is PERFECT for winter. I’m a sucker for a good blanket, so this will be my most used product in the Winter Box. The colour of it is also very complimentary to anything, so it will look nice against any colour of couch, bed, chair etc.
PJ Salvage Faux Fur Trim Cable Slippers ($45 USD). These slippers are definitely the right addition for this box, especially with the cooler weather quickly approaching. They are very comfortable and soft – the only thing I wished that would be different is if these were booties instead of being slip-ons. I’m always cold, so I’ll still need to wear socks with these slippers.
Rodial Beauty Soft Focus Glow Drops ($55 USD). This glow primer is a 2-in-1 product, providing an instant boost of radiance, and a smoothing primer before makeup application. These types of primers really work well with my skin, so I’m excited to have it! It almost reminds me of Revlon’s Rose Glow primer, just without the oil beads. I’ve used it a handful of times and notice my makeup does sit nicely on my skin, and really holds it’s place all day!
Drybar Prep Rally Prime & Prep Detangler ($23 USD). This spray is perfect for freshly washed hair – just spray it on wet hair to effortlessly brush through tangles. It also acts as a great primer before you style your hair with heat products. It’s also packed with a ton of ingredients that help your hair look and feel its best!
LXMI Pure Nilotica Melt ($28 USD). At first look, I thought this was a hand cream, but I’m glad I looked into it more. It’s a balm-to-oil product that deeply nourishes skin overnight. It’s also made from 100 percent orgranic Nilotica.
Vera Mona Color Switch Solo ($16 USD). Now this is an interesting product to me. It removes makeup from brushes by simply twirling your brush on it in-between uses of each eyeshadow. I had to use this right away because I was skeptical. It doesn’t need the use of any liquid or makeup remover, so I didn’t think it would work that well. After using it, I was not shocked to see some colour still on my brushes, but the excess product was captured into the sponge. It does work, and is beneficial to use while doing your makeup right then & there. This would help cut down the amount of brushes you use at one time as well. I would just suggest cleaning your brushes and the sponge from this once a week if used everyday.
MakeUp Eraser Makeup Eraser – Original Pink ($20 USD). I’ve used a very similar product to this one (see here), and I wasn’t overly impressed. I found that I had to really scrub around my eye makeup (mascara & eyeliner), which I felt was over-doing it and probably not the best for such a delicate area. I enjoy actually washing my face, so I don’t think this product will benefit me the most – but it’s all preference!
NailsInc Thirsty Hands Mask Duo ($10 USD). For once, I might be excited for the extreme cold days so I can put this to use! My hands and skin get really dry in the winter, so I am interested to see how well these work!
After looking at everything I received, this box is worth just over $260 USD! Definitely worth it if you’re loving the products, especially since it’s only $49.99 USD (& an additional $10 off if you use my code!).
