I’m very excited to share with you all the FabFitFun Summer 2019 Editor’s Box! I’ve seen FabFitFun everywhere on social media, whether it’s from a fellow blogger, a celebrity, or the FabFitFun ads. All the advertising actually works because I’ve always wanted to get a box for myself and see all the goodies!
FabFitFun’s Summer 2019 Editor’s Box is available for $49.99 USD, and all the products inside are actually worth over $200+. There are some staple items that everyone gets, but then there are products that are given as an option for you to choose from. I like this idea because then you can actually get some products that you’ve been eyeing. I’ll show you everything I got and the breakdown to see how much it’s actually worth.
Soothe By Apana Full Body Massager ($20 USD) – At first glance, this looks very confusing – but it’s a body massager! I know in a lot of sports or gyms, they have foam rollers which help with tense muscles. The Soothe by Apana is a full body massager that helps relieve tension and stimulate blood flow. I was excited to try this out, but found it very hard and almost difficult to use. I think the larger foam rollers are the best option for an all over body massage.
111Skin Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Booster ($160 USD) – If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know this is the year of Hyaluronic Acid! I am obsessed with it, especially with the weather constantly changing. Serums that have Hyaluronic Acid in it, such as this one by 111Skin, increases the moisture levels of your skin and keep it hydrated all day. I have similar products to this from other brands, but no where near the 160 USD price or even this size of bottle.
Grown Alchemist Deep Cleansing Facial Masque: Wheatgerm, Ginkgo & Cranberry ($39 USD) – No beauty/lifestyle box can be without a face mask! I, personally, use them all the time and love trying out new ones! This deep cleansing mask from Grown Alchemist is made from clay and formulated to detoxify the skins appearance while noticeably improving skin firmness.
Marrakesh X Leave-In Treatment & Detangler ($15.99 USD) – I’m very interested to try this product out because it’s an argan & hemp oil product. I’ve tried these products in serums, but never in a leave-in treatment. I suppose it’s the same idea, but different way of applying.. Either way, I’m happy to have got this product because I will definitely use it!
Thrive Causemetics Lash Upgrade Lash Curler ($20 USD) – If I had purchased this box, I wouldn’t have picked this exact item. My eyelashes have a natural curl to them, so I don’t ever need to use an eyelash curler. I actually find when I do use them, my lashes tend to get a weird bend to them and don’t look end up looking any nicer. I have tried some in the past, and they all work the same.. so I’m not sure how this product would differ from others on the market, other than the smooth silica gel pad.
APTO Skincare Mist Set in Turmeric & Pomegranate ($20 USD) – I’ve never really been interested in face mists because I’m either wearing makeup or I’ve already prepped my skin for the day using moisturizers. This set of face mists keep your skin looking soft, dewy and refreshed. The red one (Pomegranate) is used for a moisture-boosting antioxidant, and the yellow one (Tumeric) is used to heal or soothe dry skin. I’m not sure if I’d personally get use out of these, only because of my current skin care regime.
Green Goo Hibiscus Plant-Based Body Scrub ($35 USD) – I’m excited to try this scrub out. I use a sugar scrub from Bath & Body Works and really love it, so now I’m on the lookout for body scrubs everywhere! The only thing I’m not a fan of is that this has shea butter in it. I always find my skin is left with a film on it, and it never feels “clean” to me. I know it is, but I like not feeling a product on my skin after I get out of the shower.. anyone else??
White House Black Market Striped Tote Bag ($50 USD) – I am most surprised about this bag. At first I wasn’t excited about having it, but after one use, I’ve changed my mind! It’s very handy, sturdy, and comfortable to use. The soft leather handles make it comfortable to hold or have around your shoulders. The material is also very strong, despite it feeling on the thinner side. I do like this tote & will use it, but I wouldn’t necessarily pay $50 USD for it.
I also got these 3 Hallmark cards included in the box – I think more of a small freebie. They’re super cute, and I love that they aren’t your traditional Happy Birthday cards. They’re great for everyday!
After looking at everything I received, this box is worth $359.99 USD! Definitely worth it if you’re loving the products, especially since it’s only $49.99 USD.
