Over the past couple of years, my everyday makeup has changed quite a bit. I used to be so obsessed with eyeliner and having dark makeup to combat with my light features (eye colour, blonde eyelashes & eyebrows). I remember one day I was too lazy to wear eyeliner on my lower lash line and all my friends complemented me on it. Ever since then, I’ve strayed away from lining my lower lash line from my everyday makeup routine because it felt too heavy of a look for me. I recently received Esqido’s new Gel Eyeliner Pencils in Black and Brown, and was apprehensive at first just because I don’t use eyeliner in the same way anymore. I stick to a winged liner every day and call it a day.
Esqido’s Gel Eyeliner Pencils are formulated with intense colour that is ultra-smooth and waterproof. They’re 5-free, latex-free, and formulated without formaldehyde, parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. The body of the pencil is mechanical, so you can twist it up and down. It also has a silicone ring so when you put the lid on, it provides an airtight seal to keep the freshness of the eyeliner intact. I found these eyeliners super easy to use. The gel formula makes it so easy to apply and they really are pigmented! I used the black liner at first for my lower lash line and was very impressed. I didn’t have to continue to go over any spots as I would with less pigmented liners.
When I wore the eye liner, it lasted me all day and didn’t smudge into my tear duct (which I find a lot in eyeliners). I am definitely going to incorporate eyeliner again into my every day makeup routine, or at least do it for nights out for a darker look. I highly recommend these eyeliners – they’re easy to use, the colour payoff is amazing, and they last! Surprisingly to me, I found out that end of the pencils have a sharpener to create a fine tip. This will be very helpful for winged liner, as a rounded liner won’t provide that sharp line.
Head on over to Esqido’s website to grab these eyeliners! Don’t forget to check out their eyelashes, because they’re amazing too!
