My favourite part of my skincare regimen is when I get to do a weekly face mask. I always cleanse and exfoliate prior to doing them so that the masks really get into my pores. I was recently sent Arbonne’s Rescue & Renew Detox Mask ($44.00 CDN) and the timing couldn’t be better. I’ve been getting my main bathroom in my house redone, so I haven’t had the space or time to give myself a facial. It’s been a couple of weeks, so my face really needed a good cleanse.
Arbonne’s Rescue & Renew Detox Mask is made with French pink clay, and packed with other nutrients. The pink clay is used to draw out impurities from your skin’s surface, while 5 self-neutralizing acids work to clarify and brighten your skin. Mud masks may seem like they really dry out your skin, but this mask has rosemary oil, which will keep your skin hydrated. It’s also vegan and gluten-free!
I applied a thin layer of this mask all over my face using a foundation brush. It applied very smoothly and easily. Before it was set to dry, it had an orange/brown appearance, but it dried to a light brown/beige colour. It was very easy to determine when it was dry and ready to be washed off. Removal of the mask was very easy. I always use a wet face cloth to scrub off masks so it comes off quicker than just using my hands and water. My face felt great afterwards! It was so smooth, and my pores were definitely smaller. I don’t have large pores to begin with, but I could barely see mine after! I used a moisturizer afterwards and my face felt like butter.
I would definitely recommend purchasing Arbonne’s Rescue & Renew Detox Mask ($44.00 CDN). I know the price tag might deter some people, but this mask will last forever. I only needed a little bit of product for my whole face, and seeing as I’ll only use this once a week, I’ll for sure be using this for the next year. The packaging is also super cute! I love that it’s simple and looks very eco-friendly.
